Rear and Side Extension to Existing Property, Quorn

This design was for a large rear and side extension to an existing 50’s style property in Forest Road, Quorn.

The client wanted an industrial feel to the property to reflect the industry that he works in. We designed the rear of the property to be contemporary with a palette of materials that gave an industrial feel. The front of the property has been kept traditional and in keeping so that the rear provides a stark contrast.

The interior of the property has been designed to give 4 large bedrooms and a large first floor balcony. To the ground floor the layout has been kept open plan to give a large entertaining and family space. Large areas of glass to the rear of the property give views out onto the garden and maximise the solar gains.
