Beautifully located on the edge of a village with views onto the open countryside, we were delighted to be asked to help our client visualise then bring to life this new 4 bedroomed contemporary home.

Having already purchased the site with planning permission in place, our client had a specific idea of what they wanted which we were happy to interpret with designs and drawings. They gave us a full brief detailing their requirements for each room including configuring large open plan living spaces and a request to maximize views of the fields and countryside.

Thanks to our expertise in this sector, we were able to accommodate the height restrictions and scale of the property as dictated by planning permission and approvals.

Given the environment and setting, we incorporated our client’s wish to use contemporary materials such as timber cladding and granite to reflect a natural look, totally in keeping with their surroundings. These materials are very much in vogue at the moment, thanks to their sustainability credentials and enduring appeal.

Although the client managed the project themselves, sourcing their preferred builder and co-ordinating works on site, we were asked to handle the planning process and Building Regulation stages. These can be quite complex so it’s always best to get expert help to make sure everything runs smoothly and to avoid any unnecessary stress!
