New Eco Development

We were approached by a private client to look at the option of putting a small Eco development on a piece of land that he owned in Gotham, near Nottingham.

We designed a sketch scheme for 10 dwellings of varying sizes. The development was centred around a central shared access way and each property has been designed to maximise its sustainability potential.

A community ground source heat pump was designed to provide the dwellings with hot water and heat and photovoltaic panels would be mounted to the roof of each property to provide the electricity requirements.

The fabric of the buildings have been designed to the highest thermal capacity to reduce the heating requirements to make them as every efficient as possible.
